Belmont School

Extremely popular primary school with an excellent academic record. Just behind the shops on Chiswick High Road close to Sainsbury's, they have a pupil roll of over 400 with a two form entry (one in the nursery year). The school celebrated its centenary in 2004. They have done well in testing and seems to be particularly strong in science. The school's performance at Key Stage 2 in 2006 was exceptional with on average 94% of pupils reaching level 4 and 68% reaching level 5.

The school had an OFSTED report in September 2003 that was generally quite favourable.  The report stated that: "The school provides excellent opportunities to enrich and enliven children’s learning. Its provision for children’s care, welfare, health and safety is very good and the partnership with parents is excellent."

How do you get in?

You need to find out if you are in the "Priority Admission Area".  You can also check by contacting Hounslow Council at info@education.hounslow.gov.uk.

You need to complete an application form which can usually be obtained from the school. They do have a nursery class but the main entry is at 4+

If you live in Ealing Borough you may have difficult getting your children into this school. A 2003 judgment has confirmed that Hounslow Council have the right to give first choice to children living in their priority admission area.
