Cavendish School Strong school with a very motivated staff does a good job for pupils with a wide range of abilities. They seem to be strong in science and the nursery is highly spoken of. The school's increasing popularity was vindicated by a sparkling set of results at Key Stage 2 in recent years. They were inspected by OFSTED in 2003 and the conclusions are generally positive. It is pointed out that with an intake which includes 31% eligible for free school meals (above the national average) they typically produce results well above the national average and exceptional for similar schools. Pupils are taken to Brentford F.C. for soccer coaching but that doesn't seem to have done them any harm.
