A free workshop to help people aged 16-24 cope with bullying has been organised in Chiswick. The focus of STAND is to raise awareness and discuss experiences of bullying, via movement, theatre and performance.

The sessions are also a way for performing arts enthusiasts to engage in a creative atmosphere with a Professional Artist."

Arch 197 Dance studio is a registered charity based in the London borough of Hounslow and this project came about after the Arch took on eight work experience students from local secondary schools.

The subject of bullying was prominent so Arch 197 decided to create this workshop to invite everyone in the community aged 16-24, who has either been a bully or been bullied to come along on Monday and tell their story.

Anthony Middleton of the Middleton corpus is leading the workshop. From what is discovered on Monday, of peoples experiences, Anthony will create a piece to reflect what is discovered from the session on Monday (August 5th) and there will be a performance open to all on Friday.
