bumpstobabes® is a new concept in pre and post natal exercise classes to help new mums and mums to be to look good, feel great and have fun at the same time.

Through their combined experience, Vic Analuwa and Lindsay George found there were limited exercise facilities for pre and post natal women especially ones that offered adequate childcare whilst exercising.

Therefore the idea for bumpsto babes was conceived with an aim to provide unique, fun and individualised training programmes within a group setting but also with the added benefit of in house baby minding facilities in an adjoining 'baby room', where a team of registered childminders will care for your baby whilst you exercise.

Utilising a number of disciplines, personal trainer Vic has created a fusion of core stability, resistance training and aspects of pilates and yoga. Teaching pre and post natal exercise is his chosen specialist area, however, his psychology studies have qualified him to fully understand the physical and mental demands of pregnancy.

Vic has created an exercise programme which is exclusive to and specifically tailor-made for new mums and mums to be. "For me, helping a client throughout the various pre and post natal stages, physically and mentally is both rewarding and satisfying. A client who was having her second child, recently told me that her labour was much more manageable, and her midwife was surprised by the fact that her stomach muscles had retained such a fantastic level of tone."

Mother of two girls aged four and one, Lindsay is a trained nurse with a background in sales and marketing for health care companies. She has always been interested in exercise, especially running, resistance and core stability training however; soon after her first pregnancy she discovered that post natal classes were not fulfilling her exercise needs. Therefore after her second pregnancy, she hired Vic as her personal trainer. She found that Vic was able to give her program of exercises that resulted in her being able to take up running again 12 weeks post natal unlike the 18 months it took her after her first baby.

Lindsay said "We wanted to provide an individual touch for groups of mums and mums to be in a group setting. It’s often difficult exercising on your own due to being tired and de-motivated and new mums often feel isolated, so joining bumps to babes® is a great way to have fun, feel great & meet other mums in the same situation”.

Following two popular introductory sessions earlier this month, Bumps to babes is launching on
Thursday 23rd March @ Chiswick Town Hall with a Post Natal class from 9.45am - 10.30 am and
Pre Natal 10.45am - 11.30am.  Place are limited to ten per class, so booking in essential.  Contact Lindsay on 07788 564 677 or Vic on 07939 593 041 to book your place or email info@bumpstobabes.org.uk
