The Addison Chamber Choir pay their first visit to the beautiful St Katharine Cree, a Grade 1 listed building, having survived the Great Fire of London, the Second Word War and the Baltic Exchange Bomb of 1992.

The concert, which is part of the Brandenburg Spring Choral Festival, takes place on 10 March at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm at St. Katharine Cree, 86 Leadenhall St, EC3A 3BP.

The programme is:

  • Composer Judith Weir - Ave Regina Caelorum
  • John Gardner - Five Hymns in the Popular Style
  • Mozart - Ave verum corpus; Mozart - Requiem (accompaniment arranged for piano duet by Czerny)

The conducter is David Wordsworth and tickets can be booked here. Adults £18, children £5 ureserved seating.

The Addison Chamber Choir is an auditioned choir of between 20-30 voices who sing a large repertoire but have become particularly known for the performance of music by a wide range of contemporary composers, many of whom have written pieces especially for the choir
