New Three Storey Building Planned for Turnham Green Terrace

Retail space and flats to be built on site of former W4 Love Books

A planning application to build a new three storey building on Turnham Green Terrace has been made to Hounslow Council.

It would require the demolition of the building which formerly housed the W4Love Books shop. Prior to it being a bookshop, it was the site of Dynasty Man boutique.

The new building would provide a retail unit at ground floor and two residential units at first and roof levels.

Chiswick Furniture Galleries, the owners, say they wish to demolish and then rebuild the front section to harmonise with the terrace, but to bring the building up to date from a conservation and energy saving perspective.
