The site is located on the southern side of Grove Park railway line, adjacent to the road junction with Grove Park Bridge.

The application is for the erection of a large replacement building (comprising of 5
dwellings) with associated parking, access and landscaping, following the demolition of the
existing dwelling and out-buildings.

The design and architectural style of the proposed development would reflect the architectural design of the Victorian semidetached and terraced dwellings that are in close proximity to the site.

The application states that the traditional design will ensure a blend not just in style but also size of the surrounding buildings, ensuring that the footprint, eaves and ridge heights are similar to that of the adjacent properties and local conservation area.

Each flat would have at least one bedroom, and associated off-road car parking space.
