The event will feature performances from Methods of Movement Dance, DJ Tony, Steel band ‘Ebony Steel’, and Hobbit Human Beat-Box, all to a backdrop of a live band and refreshments from the Barbeque.
Chiswick Park will also welcome a very special guest - Urban Environmental Artist, Kevin Herlihy, who will be creating a sculpture from materials that have been recycled from the River Thames. This follows the recent river clean-up in Brentford on 23rd July this year whereby some of the guest companies, including Genworth and Pricoa came on a CPEM organised volunteering day with Chiswick Park in association with Thames 21.
Some of the materials they pulled out of the river will now be used in a piece of environmental art that will be displayed at Chiswick Park and the volunteers will be working with the artist on Friday to create an aspect of it.
All events take place from 12pm-2pm Friday lunchtimes and are open to members of the public.
