Speciality cheese shop La Cave a Fromage is planning to open next week on the site of the former Noa Noa boutique on the High Road. The shop will open on December 13th.

They will sell farmhouse and artisan cheese from the UK and Europe, as well as cheese that they mature themselves.

The shop will initially open as a 'pop up' and after Christmas will close for a while for work on the business to be completed.

All La Cave shops have a tasting cafe where customers can sample platters of cheese and/or charcuterie with a glass or bottle of wine.

La Cave a Fromage has branches in Notting Hill, South Kensington, and Hove, near Brighton.

According to La Cave's website, Amnon Paldi and Eric Charriaux opened the first shop in 2007 wanting to share their passion for cheese. Their wholesale sister company Premier Cheese supplies top restaurants including La Manoir aux Quat'Saison, The Waterside Inn, Cliveden and South Lodge Hotel, West Sussex.
