Chiswick resident Toni Charlton has raised an amazing £1,010 for ShelterBox charity with a Garden Plant Raffle.

Going door to door around the Glebe Estate selling raffle tickets at a £1 a go resulted in Toni raising enough money to fund two boxes - including all the costs associated with transportation - which will be sent to the most needy disaster zones around the world.

The raffle, which was drawn on Tuesday 25th May, was generously supported by OliverFinn, Chestertons and Savills would sponsored all the prizes from Wheelers.

Toni told ChiswickW4.com, "One of the reasons why I decided on a raffle, which would involve house-to-sales, was to introduce this charity to my neighbours - and they have responded magnificently.

"A real community effort - generously supported by Oliver Finn, Chestertons and Savills, who sponsored the prizes - which were provided by Wheelers of Turnham Green.

"And the good thing is that we will be able to track where our boxes are sent to because they are all numbered."
