Fantastic family day out at the Chiswick Town Hall on Sunday 10th October! Join Gymboree and Amanda for our duck-themed fundraiser in aid of the Tommy Hollis Charitable Fund.

All Chiswick parents will recall the tragic accident back in February this year when Tommy’s buggy was struck by a falling lamppost outside the Chiswick Town Hall. He died in hospital two days later as a result of the injuries sustained to his head just a day before his 1st birthday.

Tommy’s parents Kate and Chris Hollis have since set up the Tommy Hollis Charitable Fund in Tommy’s memory, which donates money to existing charities (particularly local ones) working with children. They are currently working with REACT, a charity based in Kew that supports children suffering from serious long-term illnesses.

This autumn fete will be filled with great kids activities including Gymboree sessions and play area, Amanda’s Action Kids, Art Corner, Story Time, Hook-A-Duck, fantastic raffle and much, much more, all included in your ticket price of £10 per child. Plus teas, coffees, sandwiches, cakes and other delicious snacks, so stay for lunch as well - the perfect way to spend a gloomy October Sunday!

We were lucky enough at Gymboree to have Tommy in our classes for many months, he was much loved by everyone and we were all left devastated by his death. Giving our time and energy into fundraising for the charity is the best way we can think of to show our love and support for his family and we hope you will join us.

Our thanks to Hounslow Council and Fusion Lifestyle for supporting the event and providing the fantastic venue free of charge.
