Feeling active and wanting to support a local charity this summer? Epilepsy Research UK has places available in the British 10K London Run on 10 July and the London Triathlon on 30/31 July and are looking for active people to take part.

The British 10K takes place through the heart of London and they are just asking for £100 in sponsorship. The London Triathlon has Sprint, Super Sprint or Olympic distance categories and there is £500 minimum sponsorship to be raised.

If you would like to support their work please get in touch with jo@eruk.org.uk or 020 8995 4781 for more information and an entry form. You’ll receive full fundraising support and a personalised running vest.

Epilepsy Research UK is the only national organisation exclusively dedicated to funding research into all areas of epilepsy. Over 456,000 people in the UK are affected by epilepsy, 75 people are newly diagnosed every day and over 1,000 people die each year, yet the condition receives little publicity and even less research funding.

Every project they fund is rigorously assessed by a panel of experts to ensure that it has the potential to advance our understanding of the condition and improvements in the treatment and care of those with epilepsy, which is why the generosity of supporters is so important.
