The Cancer Research Charity Shop at number 392 Chiswick High Road has been raising money for decades. Paula Ainsworth and her team have been working with great enthusiasm and dedication since the nineties .

2020 has been a very challenging year for the shop and for the charity as a whole. At this time of the year they would be asking volunteers to take to Chiswick High Road to raise money for the Stand Up To Cancer campaign.

This isn’t possible due to the lockdown and with the shop shut the money being raised has fallen significantly.

The way they are looking to make up the shortfall is via an online campaign - A Bucket for Change.

100% of the money you raise goes towards speeding up life-saving research. Every day, scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But lab researchers will not get us there alone. Every penny raised helps speed up breakthroughs in the lab, transforming them into new tests and treatments for patients who need them. The research you fund will help Cancer Research reach their target of 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034
