Chiswick High Road became full of festive cheer on Thursday 25th November at as this year's Christmas lights were switched on.

The event held outside George IV on Chiswick High Road is sponsored by local brewery Fullers and saw the Mayor of Hounslow Cllr Colin Ellar and Richard Fuller from the brewery to switch on the lights along with Cllr Peter Thompson.

St Marys School Choir and Chiswick Rock Choir were in fine voice singing Christmas carols.

For many, the event marks the beginning of the festive season.
