Community raising money for stonework restoration

Christ Church, Turnham Green has organised a whole series of community events to raise money for its stonework restoration project.

Much of the original Bath stone is discoloured, severely weathered and in places has broken away completely.  The restoration project this year will mean that Christ Church can continue to serve the community for another 170 years!

Chiswick “Local Knowledge” Quiz Night - Thursday 16th May, 7.30pm

Form a team with friends and sign up to test your local knowledge at a fun quiz evening. £15 per person (in teams of 6 to 8) including bangers & mash supper with a cash bar.

Concert on the Green - Saturday 13th July, 7.30pm

Songs from opera and cabaret, with a BYO picnic on Turnham Green beforehand. £20 per person (£15 in advance, £10 under 16s); cash bar and hot drinks available.

Join the Stonework Walkers on the Thames Path Challenge - Saturday & Sunday 14th & 15th September. Get sponsored and join the team to walk 100km from Putney to Henley in 30 hours or less!

Harvest Fair - Saturday 5th October, 11am to 4pm: A day for all the family to celebrate Harvest-time - with stalls selling local produce and home made cakes, family games on the green, bouncy castle, BBQ, cash bar, and lots more!
