Family fun as Chelsea Fringe event starts in Chiswick
Abundance London’s Edible High Road is launched at 11am on Saturday 19th May in front of Waterstone’s, as Chiswick’s contribution to the very first ever Chelsea Fringe. Part of the fun will be the launch of the amazing Treasure Trail with especially good prizes for the first ten to complete the trail. Loads of prizes for those who complete the Trail over the next three weeks too! The fruit trees will be installed outside the participating shops and the volunteers are busy collecting and planting. At the launch there will also be free tasters, including good stuff made from Chiswick apples, Kilburn crab apples and Haringey herbs, as well as other tasties offered by our tree hosts, including fruit from As Nature Intended, juices from Samba Swirl, flats from Union Jacks, and lots of other stuff. Abundance also need children to come and create fruits to hang on the Edible High Road fruit trees, so please come prepared to make at least two apples! You can also download the map from Saturday at: www.abundancelondon.com
