A316 Re-opens After Earlier Accident

Motorbike and a car were involved

An accident involving motorcyclist and a car closed the A316 southbound between the Hogarth Roundabout and Chalkers Corner (far side of Chiswick Bridge).

The accident happened around lunchtime on Tuesday 24th November, close to the traffic lights at the junction of Riverside Drive and Hartington Road.

Traffic is was diverted at Burlington Lane and was also slow moving westbound on the A4 over the Hammersmith Flyover.

The A316 has now re-opened and traffic is slowly returning to normal.
