A 70-year-old man died this Thursday afternoon (28 November) after falling from a block of flats on Wellesley Road, Chiswick.

Emergency services were called at 1.47pm and the man was pronounced dead at 2.20pm.

It is believed that the fatality took place at Melody Court which is retirement housing managed by Catalyst Housing.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A Met Police spokesperson said: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a man fallen from a height in Wellesley Road.

"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.

"The man, believed to be aged in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene at 2.20pm."
