A local Councillor has condemned the delay in repairing the pathways across Acton Green.

About three weeks ago Ealing Council fenced off a number of the paths in Acton Green meaning that they are no longer usable for the general public.

Liberal Democrat councillor Gary Malcolm who represents the local Southfield ward asked: “Why has it taken the Council more than three weeks to resurface the path across Acton Green To Turnham Green tube station?”

He claims that in other areas of the borough this type of work is done much more quickly. Local Lib Dems have campaigned for the fencing and pathways to be improved as well as having more bins in the park.

Gary Malcolm added,: “Residents have waited too long for areas of Acton Green to be improved and when action is agree to happen, it should not take this long.“
