Chiswick Business Park has been awarded a five-star Clean Britain Award from The British Cleaning Council for its cleanliness quality and contribution to the local area, making it one of the cleanest workplaces in Britain.

The award comes just days after Hounslow Council was named amongst local authorities that have the worst track record of dealing with street litter providing a direct contrast.

Chiswick Park was the only office park to receive such an accolade, with the awards scheme usually aimed at local authorities across the UK.

In 2009, sixty three local authorities entered the scheme of which only a select few were awarded a Star Grading ranging from 1-5 Stars. Having achieved five stars, Chiswick Park has now qualified for a National Award.

Following an anonymous half day inspection, Chiswick Park was judged against a number of criteria, including; litter and fly tipping; waste bin management; chewing gum and cigarette butt litter, dog fouling and signage and street furniture cleanliness – all issues which impact on first – and lasting – visitor impressions to the local area.
