New "Vue" for Chiswick Business Park

Owner of Warner Village Cinemas to move into development

Cinema operator Vue, the company formed following SBC International Cinemas’ acquisition of Warner Village Cinemas, has recently acquired a new headquarters at Chiswick Business Park. The move from Holborn forms part of the new company’s extensive re-branding project.

Vue is now the largest multiplex operator in the UK, with about 16% of market share and currently owning 42 cinemas with a further 15 new sites planned over the next three years.

Timothy Richards, President & CEO of Vue said “With cinema attendance expected to rise in the UK year on year, we look forward to exceptional growth for Vue Cinemas. We will continue to expand and enhance to ensure that we have the leading, most modern and best equipped cinema circuit in the UK. For this we require offices that reflect the dynamic pace of the company, and we have managed to fulfil this in Chiswick Park”

Henry Williams, development director at Stanhope, comments “We are also immensely proud to have attracted this high-profile media operator to the site. This type of business is very much aligned to the lifestyle offered at Chiswick Park and is an enormous endorsement of our brand, enjoy-work.”

Vue will find themselves in the company of UCG Cinemas who also have their headquarters located in Chiswick.
