Four Chiswick Community School A level ICT students have designed an iPhone app called ‘ichiswick’. The school is now one of only eight schools in the country to have a customised iPhone app as a prospectus.

The app which contains information about the school, images and videos can be down loaded form the itunes website.
4 Chiswick students were chosen from the A level ICT group to attend a course run by an Apple software developer.

"We have all come away with knowledge about how to create an app and will be able to invent others in the future,’ said Danielle Hutchinson, one of the students. "It has also helps us understand how coding for websites works which will help us with our A level. We wanted to create a multi media prospectus so that it would be more exciting for younger people to look at."

"Congratulations to Daniel Lane, Hassan Abdul-Muhsen, Danielle Hutchinson and Jonny Manfield, for working so hard on the content. Chiswick Community School now joins an elite group of just a few schools in the UK that can 'get their message out' on this most modern and exciting of delivery platforms - the iPhone/iPad App", said Tony Ryan, Chiswick’s Head teacher.
