'Hilarious' Anthony Hopkins Filming in Bedford Park

Joining host of stars for Woody Allen’s latest screen project

Sir Anthony Hopkins is currently in Chiswick filming Woody Allen's latest comedy drama and by all reports keeping his fellow actors and film crew entertained.

The Express reports that the 71-year-old acting legend is "the nicest person in the world to work with,” according to a member of the crew. “He greets everyone on set by name and with a kiss, doesn’t see the point of having a PA and eats with the crew instead of going back to his trailer.”

“He keeps everyone laughing with his proper Dad-style jokes. He’s hilarious!”

Hopkins is just one of several A-list top-earners who are foregoing their usual fee to work with Allen, on the yet unnamed project.

Fellow cast members include Naomi Watts, Josh Brolin, Antonio Banderas, Freida Pinto and Pauline Collins.

According to reports, Nicole Kidman was also due to appear but was replaced at 11th hour by relatively unknown actress Lucy Punch (pictured above with Hopkins) after scheduling conflicts forced her to pull out.
