20 year old Brooke Burfitt-Dons (pictured right) has relinquished her Miss West London title to enter the Miss England Pageant but is appealing for the backing of Chiswick residents by October 30th to get her to the semi final.

"I couldn’t compete in both beauty contests at the same time" says Brooke who lives in Duke Road. "I am very grateful to Galaxy UK for the title of Miss West London, but having made it to finals in both competitions I had to make a choice.

"Winning Miss England would not only be a dream opportunity but also allow me to raise awareness of some of the charitable issues that I care deeply about."

Though she is studying Economics with East European studies at UCL, Brooke is no stranger to the publicity stage.

A talented singer, her band Brooke and the Buzz has been gaining in popularity since they appeared at A Perfect Day in St. Johns Wood in the summer.
