Chiswick funny man Al Murray is calling time on his Pub Landlord for a new topical comedy show for ITV.

Called It's The End of The Week As We Know It, the award winning comedian takes a look back at the events of the past seven days to see what it had to offer.

Together with his ace reporting team of Karen Taylor and Paul Hawksbee, Al will be giving his particular take on the week's celebrity gossip, sport, book releases, film premieres and political news (as long as it isn't really boring).

Described as Apocalyptic, and yet upbeat the trio will be trying out material in front of a live audience at the George IV pub before filming the pilot episode.
