The trial of the estranged wife of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White will take place at Uxbridge Magistrates Court on July 12.

Matilde Conejero, 51, known as Mati, allegedly assaulted Marco Pierre White jnr, 20, then her eldest Luciano, 22, when he stepped in at their home in Chiswick.

Uxbridge Magistrates Court heard that the row took place at an apartment block where she and her eldest son share adjoining flats.

The restaurant formerly owned by her ex husband is nearby, it was formerly Frankie's Bar & Grill and is now the Villa de Geggiano.

Ms. Conejero, who appears on court papers as White, has pleaded not guilty to two charges of assault.

A court hearing this week heard the incident took place on September 20 last year when Luciano went to his brother’s flat in Chiswick. He had gone to Sainsburys and then saw his mother near the flat.

He did not wish to talk to her and closed the door, pushing a sofa by the door to stop his mother coming in.

He then went to the bedroom and spoke with Marco. Marco heard banging from outside and shouting and swearing. He looked outside and saw that mother had opened the door and pushed it open.

He left the bedroom and approached her. She was shouting and swearing at him, and she grabbed him by the hair pulling at it so hard a lump came out.

She has denied assault and claims she acted in self defence.

Mathilde Conejero, 51, married the celebrity chef in 2000, and they have been estranged for some time.
