Chiswick Team Go Head To Head With BBC 'Eggheads'

As local resident Jeremy Vine was quizmaster

BBC broadcasters Jeremy Vine was quizmaster as a local team from Chiswick went up against the BBC experts on the popular Eggheads show last week.

Episode 92, broadcast last Wednesday (29 March) which can still be viewed on BBC I Player, saw a team from the Bell & Crown pub, which is made of up a group of athletes who socialise together.

The team, named 'On Your Question Marks' was made of up team leader Martin, who has represented Team GB 23 times as a decathlete and who is now a team coach; Lou, studying for a Phd in Biomedical Science, and who is a former middle distance runner; Jack, a data analyst , Sam a biomedical science graduate, and Dave, a sports massage therapist.

They described themselves as very competitive, but said they were more successful as athletes than as a quiz team.

"We do a lot of exercise bbut we like to get together and have fun too", they said.
