The supper quiz held at St Michael's & All Angels Church, Chiswick on Saturday, 26 February 2005, in aid Macmillan Cancer Relief, raised over £2,200. The evening was a great success. The Chiswick Committee supplied delicious food and the wine flowed - considerably aiding the thought processes of the players!

The winning team from Barnes and Hammersmith (pictured right) were well ahead with the second and third teams running neck and neck until the final round. From left to right front row: Anna Hooper, Mary Barrie and Lizzie Morgan (twin sisters who used to live in Chiswick), Celia Charlton and Richard Morgan. Back row: Toby Hooper, David Barrie, Tim Charlton.

Macmillan Cancer Relief's aim is to fund services, which include Macmillan nurses, doctors and patient information and grants. It builds centres to provide information, support, treatment and care - helping to achieve a better quality of life for people affected by cancer from the moment they are diagnosed, onwards.
