The Chiswick Macmillan Committee held their annual tennis tournament at the Hartswood Lawn Tennis Club on 18th May.

24 players enjoyed a fun morning of tennis followed by a delicious luncheon, prize giving and a raffle. The tournament was organised by committee member, Moira Broom, who has organised an amazing 13 tennis tournaments for Macmillan over the last nine years.

The Chiswick Committee has been actively working for Macmillan in their region for 10 years, and through a variety of events, fundraised an average of £10,000 a year. Their funds are allocated to local Macmillan posts in Hammersmith, Ealing, Chelsea and Westminster.

The Committee's next event is a Garden Party on 14th July, being held in a private walled garden in the heart of Old Chiswick. For more information, please contact Carol Woolner, Committee Chairman at macmillan@chiswickw4.com
