Podium Girls Take to the Saddle

Chiswick residents Polly and Angel get on their bikes for charity

This year the podium girls from The Tour of Britain and The Tour Series will get off the podium and onto bikes to ride the London Tour Ride and they need your donations!

Chiswick residents, Angel and her friend Polly will be taking part in the London Tour Ride cycling event in aid of The Prostate Cancer Charity on September 19th.

Since 2007 they have been presentation hostesses at both The Tour of Britain and Tour Series professional cycling races. They have handed out winning trophies and jerseys to some of the worlds top cyclists and this coupled with the chance to raise money and awareness for The Prostate Cancer Charity has inspired them to take part in the ride even though their actual cycling experience is limited.

They are looking for cash donations for their chosen charity and would like companies to donate kit for them to use during the ride and training sessions. Ideally the kit will be auctioned off after the ride to raise more money for the Charity
