A special meeting of the Chiswick Area Committee (Monitoring) will be held in The Catholic Centre, 7 Duke's Avenue, Chiswick W4 on Friday, 13 January 2006 between 7:30 pm and 9.30 p.m. 

The meeting is devoted entirely to discussion on the Chiswick House & Gardens project and the future of the site.


The evening's agenda includes an overview of the Chiswick House and Gardens Project presented by Howard Simmons, Assistant Chief Executive (Corporate Policy and Regeneration) of London Borough of Hounslow.  There will also be b
rief presentations by officers and Trustees on aspects of the project.


A coffee break will provide the opportunity for the public to talk informally to officers and councillors present.


Further presentations and questions will follow the break and take the meeting up to its 9.30pm finish.

A London Borough of Hounslow spokesman, said: "This special Area Committee meeting is another opportunity for us to discuss the proposals submitted to the HLF (Heritage Lottery Fund) for their Stage 1 approval. We hope this meeting is well-attended, we have been working to involve the whole community in the most important changes to the House and Gardens since they opened to the public 75 years ago. It will give people an opportunity to let their local councillors know their views so that we can working towards stage 2. Many of the details about which people are most concerned will be decided after consultation during the coming stage."
