A new local newspaper is set to hit doormats across W4 this Thursday. The Chiswick Post is promising to pack each edition with entertaining features.

The new weekly paper has been set up by local residents Tim Potter and Claire LeDain who both used to work in the television industry.

Tim said, "readers will find interviews with Chiswick celebrities, local news, TV guides, competitions, health articles, a fine wine guide, cinema and DVD reviews, local restaurant reviews, and much more besides."

Totally independent of any other local or national newspaper, the first edition will be delivered on Thursday 26th August. It will be a rival to The Chiswick which is part of the Newsquest group which in turn is owned by Gannet one of the largest publishers of regional newspapers in the world.
