There is the prospect of a reprieve for the tea lovers of Bedford Park after it has transpired that The Copper Kettle has not yet been sold after all.

Jo Kleyn, the owner of the well-liked neighbourhood café on Bedford Corner has sadly been unable to work for some time due to ill health and, as a consequence, has left the business in the hands of her competent and able staff of many years

Ms Kleyn, who has been the proprietor of The Copper Kettle for the past eight years, recently underwent surgery and had to make the tough decision to sell her business.

It is however, her sincere desire for any new owner to pick up where she has unfortunately had to leave off.

One local resident told ChiswickW4.com "I have been a regular at The Copper Kettle for years, ever since my children were small.  It would be a real shame for Bedford Corner to lose such a lovely cafe."
