Detectives investigating the disappearance of a father-to-be from Heston have announced a £20,000 reward. Officers are now calling for the "wall of silence", which they believe to be surrounding his disappearance, to come to an end.

Police have been searching for 27-year-old Mohammed Shah Subhani, also known as Shah Khan, who was reported missing on Tuesday 7th May. His white Audi Q3 remains unfound as well.

One of the last known locations obtained from his mobile phone was Chiswick. His family fear he may have been kidnapped and taken to the Chiswick area on the night.

“Information suggests that Mohammed was in debt and attended the police station in the hope that he was to collect £4,800 from a matter that was not proceeded with. The money was not available – as it had been banked.", said Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh from the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command.

He continued “He then went to an industrial premises on Derby Road, Hounslow where he met an associate who owed him £5,000. We believe that this money was paid.

“Mohammed should have been in possession of at least £9,800, if someone knew this it could be significant.

“I believe that Mohammed has got out of his depth in some kind of criminal activity".
