A spate of robberies in the Grove Park area has continued. Many of the offences seem to occur on a Tuesday with the latest one taking place on the 22nd March.

The incident took place on Burlington Lane when a 14 year old school boy was talking on his mobile phone. As he hung up he was approached by a youth on a bike who said, "My brother's phone's been jacked, I'm going to search you". He then proceeds to take the phone and ride away.

The words used were very similar to those of a suspect in a similar incident which occurred on Tuesday 8th March, also on Burlington Lane. In that case the suspect was described as riding a yellow and blue mountain bike.

The suspect in the most recent case is described as a black male, aged around 15, with grey/black woolly jumper and white trainers.
