Inspector Dave Osborne, has been appointed the new Chiswick Sector Inspector.

Taking over the reins from Tim Smith Inspector, Dave Osborne has worked within Hounslow Borough for the past two years managing a response team as well as being the Borough Commander's Staff Officer.

He told chiswickw4.com "When the opportunity to take over at Chiswick came up, I was keen to take on the challenge; I grew up locally and went to School in the area. There is also a family connection as my Father served at Chiswick before he retired from the Met in 1982."

His police career, which spans 22 years of service, started out in East London where he served as a PC at Stratford, Forest Gate, Dalston and Stoke Newington.  He then went on to serve 8 years as a Sergeant in Shepherds Bush and prior to coming to Hounslow, spent 5 years at the Internal Investigations Command (Complaints).

Inspector Osborne said "I'm looking forward to building on the good work that Tim has started and will be doing my best to get a much needed 'Safer Neighbourhoods' team to Chiswick early in the new year. I believe this will really make a difference to the quality of life in the area and provide a much improved capability to tackle crime and the community issues that really matter to the people who live and work in Chiswick."
