Thursday 9th February 2006 at about 1345 a robbery occured near Oxford Court, Wellesley Road.

The victim was a 40 year old female collection officer for a company which provides machines to pubs and clubs.

She was walking towards her car in the car park when she was struck on the head from behind. The blow forced her head forward to the rear window of her car.

Her attacker grabbed her shoulder bag containing cash from machines and ran off towards Oxford Road North.

No description available except her attacker was wearing all black clothing including a black hooded top with the hood up.

The victim was taken to hospital where she was treated for her injuries but not kept in.

The amount of cash stolen has been withheld.
