Elderly Couple’s Card Stolen at High Road Cash Point

Two Men Sought for Sainsbury’s Distraction Robbery

On Friday 1st June at 5.00pm a couple in their 60’s were queuing at the cash point at the Sainsbury’s Express on Chiswick High Road.

The victim put his cash card into the machine and entered his pin number. As soon as he had done so, two males approached him from either side, jostled and nudged him in an attempt to distract him.

One of the male suspects began to wave some money in the victim’s face whilst the other male hit the cancel button on the cash machine and took the card.

Both suspects then ran away.

The first suspect is described as a 30 year old male of Eastern European appearance wearing a grey knit shirt. The second, again an Eastern European looking male was wearing a white sports shirt.
