Two men on a motorbike, believed to be armed with a sub-machine gun, snatched a box of cash from a security guard last Tuesday (October 7th).

The incident took place at around noon at the HSBC branch which is on the junction of Goldhawk Road and Chiswick High Road

Police were on the scene within 7 minutes but the robbers had escaped north up the Goldhawk Road. They abandoned the empty cash box in the Stamford Brook area. The two men were wearing helmets and dark clothes and have been described as stocky.
