DI Jeff Minns told ChiswickW4.com “There have been a number of occasions when people have been attacked whilst taking money from a machine. We take this matter very seriously as it is a violent crime and anybody with information or who witnessed this crime please call Hounslow CID.

“People using bank machines must be very careful, vigilant and aware of strangers loitering. Put your money in a pocket or bag, don’t count in the street, if in doubt, wait until day time or go to the bank with someone you know.”

Any witnesses or anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call Hounslow CID in confidence on 0208 247 6160/5940 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting crime reference 0500972/08 for the Stile Hall Gardens robbery or 0500968/08 for the Edensor Road robbery.
