Woman Punched In Face During Flanders Road Robbery

And sustains broken teeth and mouth injuries as boys on bikes steal her handbag

A woman sustained broken teeth and mouth injuries during a robbery on Flanders Road last Saturday 16th February.

The incident happened at 13.15 as the 27 year old victim walked along Flanders Road in the direction of Turnham Green tube station.

As she got about half way down Flanders Road, a suspect approached from behind and pulled the handbag off her shoulder. The suspect then punched the victim in the face and made off with her bag along with a number of other youths on mountain bikes towards Stamford Brook tube station.

The handbag belonging to the victim, who sustained broken teeth and mouth injuries, was recovered in the alleyway close to Prebend Gardens but with all property taken.

The main suspect is described as a black male, aged around 16, wearing a black hooded top and black or dark bottoms.
