The Police in Chiswick

David Nelson, a 36 year old man from Chiswick, was viciously attacked after he went to the aid of a Bar Manageress.

The attack, which took place in the Pitcher and Piano in Richmond on the evening of Tuesday 13th January, has left Nelson unconscious and on a life support machine.

Detective Inspector Andy Perrott said "There were a number of witnesses either in the bar or walking along the riverside when this terrible assault occurred. It is these people we would like to hear from to aid this investigation."

The Police are asking for anyone who either witnessed the attack or where in the Pitcher & Piano between 6pm and 8.30pm on the 13th to call DC Paul Cox at Twickenham CID on 0208 247 7033 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
