The Police in Chiswick

Officers from Operation Trident are appealing for
witnesses after shooting in the early hours of Friday (18.6.04) in Chiswick.

Police were notified by staff at a London Hospital of a male, aged around 21, who was admitted suffering from a gun shot wound to the stomach.

It is believed the victim was involved in an earlier altercation in British Grove off the Chiswick High Rd at approx 2.30am.

Police are keeping an open mind about motive but at this
early stage believe the altercation was between two separate groups of 6-7 black males. The victim remains in hospital.
