A convicted paedophile was arrested in a school changing room just months after being released from prison for grooming teenage girls.

57 year old Chiswick resident Ian Hunter was reported to have had 1,600 horrific child porn images in the lining of his jacket when he was arrested on Friday 3rd July.

According to reports, Hunter had been attending night classes at the all-girls school despite a court order banning him from being within 50 yards of any educational establishment.

Recognising Hunter from images released after his 2007 conviction for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl and 16 counts of possessing indecent images of children a parent at the school contacted Police.

Officers recovered a laptop, a notebook and hard disks containing indecent images of children from Hunter's Chiswick flat.

He pleaded guilty at West London Magistrates' Court to five counts of possession of indecent images of children and one count of breaching a sexual offences prevention order.

At the hearing, Magistrate Paul Clark said, "You served 18 months in prison last time and I have no doubt this will be increased."

Hunter was refused bail and appear before Kingston Crown Court later this month.
