A bogus builder targeted residents in Pinkham Mansions last week claimed he was carrying out work in the above flats.

Police were called on 6th July by a resident who became suspicious after a male attempted to gain entry to the victim's flat to check for any damage that may have been caused whilst conducting work above.

The suspect is described as a white male, late-teens or early twenties, short mousy brown hair, slim build, wearing a blue and white striped polo shirt and khaki trousers.

Inspector Bains told ChiswickW4.com, “Always ask for an identification before you let anyone in to your house. If you are not happy, do not let them into your house. Use the door chain and keep them out."

If you have any information about this suspect please call Hounslow Police Station CID 0208 247 6160/5940 or CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.
