A woman has had her mobile phone snatched outside the Devonshire House gastro-pub on Devonshire Road. The incident occured at 1.30pm on Saturday 21st August.

The 27 year old victim was texting friends when a youth rode up behind her. He is described as being aged about 16 years, white, short brown hair, about 5ft 8 inches tall, wearing a blue baseball cap and a dark blue North Face jacket with bllue denim jeans. In addition he is believed to have an 'odd looking mouth'.

He escaped down Ashbourne Grove towards Chiswick Lane.

The phone was a Sharp GX30 model with a silver flip top worth about £150.

Police advise that most crimes of this kind locally occur when the victim is distracted when using their mobile phone and not aware of their surroundings.
