Tuesday 5th October proved a busy but productive day for Chiswick Police after they made three arrests following two separate incidents.

The first happened at 3:50pm when police were called to an incident outside Belmont School where a man was being abusive to other people.

One man was arrested for behaving in a disorderly manner under Section 5 Public Order Act, he was also found to be in possession of some cannabis.

After further investigation this man was given a Penalty Notice for possession of Cannabis and no action to be taken against him for public order offences as there was insufficient evidence to charge and he was released from custody.

The second incident happened around 20.15 hours when officers were called with a report of suspicious activity at a residential address near Fishers Lane in Chiswick. On arrival, officers secured the property and conducted a search.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary. They are currently being questioned at a West London Police Station by detectives from Hounslow Borough Police burglary squad.
