Police are appealing for information following a robbery on Wavendon Avenue at 11pm on Friday 12th November.

A 58 year old woman was grabbed from behind and forced to hand over jewellery and her purse. Among the items stolen was an antique diamond wedding ring, a diamond bracelet, a gold necklace and cash and cash cards.

There were two suspects involved in the attack. The first, a black male of around 6ft and a medium build was the active participant. He was wearing dark clothing. The second who acted as lookout, was a black male 5ft 10" with a slim build.

A car with lights on was in the street at the time and police would be grateful if the driver could contact them, as they could be a vital witness.

This type of crime is extremely rare in Chiswick, which makes it all the more important for witnesses to come forward.

If you can be of assistance in this matter please contact either Detective Sergeant Boon or Police Constable Mulvihill at the Hounslow Borough burglary and robbery team on 020 8247 5940 or crime stoppers anonymously.
