Chiswick police have arrested a man in connection with drugs offences.

The man was stopped while driving along Chiswick High Road and found to be in possession of cannabis in his car.

When police accompanied him to his home in Isleworth, they found a stash of cocaine and cannabis as well as £20,000 sum in cash.

The man was arrested and has been charged for possession of drugs with intent to supply.

The street value of the drugs seized was said to be substantial.

The discovery was made as part of Operation Cubo – a stop and search operation designed to track down uninsured drivers and vehicles and target criminals.
