Two young boys out 'Trick or Treating' were targeted by a gang in Chiswick last night (Oct 31) who tried to steal sweets and a mobile phone. And in the Grove Park area, a woman had her handbag snatched shortly after getting off the train.

Police have appealed to the public for help tracing suspects following the two incidents in Chiswick and another in Feltham.

The first incident took place when a gang approached two schoolboys aged 12 and 13 in Abinger Road, Chiswick at about 7.45pm.

The friends were out 'Trick or Treating' when they were targeted by a group of four males. One of the suspects grabbed a bucket of sweets from the victim before he was pushed into a fence. He then tried to steal his mobile phone but the 13 year-old victim refused to hand it over. He was then punched in the face before the suspects ran off towards Woodstock Avenue.
The victim, from Twickenham, received a small cut to his lip but did not need any medical treatment.

The suspects were black males aged between 14 and 16. They were wearing dark hooded tops.

The second robbery by three males happened at about 8pm. A 24 year-old woman had just got off the train at Chiswick station and was walking along Park Road, W4 to her friend's house. As she reached Chatsworth Road, a male came up behind her demanding that she hand over her bag. It was then grabbed off her arm and three suspects ran off back towards to the train station.

The first suspect is described as an Asian male, late teens to early 20s, slim build with a London accent. He was wearing a red cap and a hooded jumper with white writing on the front.
The other two suspects were white males, both of slim build wearing hoodies.

The third robbery of two school boys aged 14 happened at about 11pm in the Feltham area.

The boys were on their way home when four males came out from a bush at the junction of Mono Lane and Victoria Road in Feltham.

One of the schoolboys was pushed against a wall by one of the suspects who was wearing a Vendetta mask. He then patted him down and took his Black Samsung Galaxy S3 from his pocket.
Police were on the scene within minutes and took the two boys on a drive around the area to see if they could identify the suspects .

All the suspects were wearing masks but the one who took the phone was a white male aged about 18 to 19 yrs, 5ft 6". He was wearing a black hoody, black tracksuit trousers, black lace up trainers, black gloves and the Vendetta mask.

Supt Sally Benatar from Hounslow Police, said: " We had additional police patrols out across the borough for Halloween and the vast majority of revellers enjoyed a pleasant and peaceful evening.
